Aquatic Classes

Groovin’ Shallow (Arthritis Foundation Approved Aquatic class)

This class is designed for people with any muscular or joint disorder such as, arthritis, Multiple Sclerosis, Fibromyalgia who are just beginning to exercise. The class emphasizes maintaining and increasing joint flexibility, balance, and coordination. The exercises will primarily take place in shallow water (waist-to-shoulder-depth). A good class for non-swimmers and people not comfortable in the water.

Intensity – Low
Time – 50 minutes

Movin’ Deep

This class is designed for people with any muscular or joint disorder such as, arthritis, Multiple Sclerosis, Fibromyalgia who have been exercising for a while. The class emphasizes maintaining and increasing joint flexibility, balance, and coordination and increased cardiovascular endurance. All participants must be comfortable in deep water.

Intensity – Moderate
Time – 50 minutes

Aqua Zumba

Aqua Zumba is Zumba in the water. It includes challenging work-outs in the water and redefines the definition of Zumba fitness party. Aqua Zumba program gives new meaning to the idea of an invigorating workout. Splashing,
stretching, twisting, even shouting, laughing, hooting and hollering are often heard during an Aqua Zumba class. Integrating the Zumba formula and philosophy with traditional aqua fitness disciplines, the Aqua Zumba class
blends it all together into a safe, challenging, water-based workout that’s cardio-conditioning, body-toning, and most of all, exhilarating beyond belief.

Intensity – Moderate
Time – 45 minutes

Deep Water

A non-impact class involving cardiovascular exercise as well as muscle toning – a great whole body workout without touching the bottom (buoyancy belts are worn).

Intensity – Moderate to High
Time – 50 minutes

Wet & Fun

A fun-packed class offering cardiovascular and muscle conditioning. This class will be both in shallow and deep water. Start your day off right.
