Pilates

A series of movements designed to increase core strength and stability. Exercises are performed with a neutral spine so that deeper muscles are activated and the core is strengthened. The spine is elongated leading to better posture. Exercises flow from one to the next more quickly than yoga. Introduction to Pilates Mat class is required before joining this class.

Reformer (Pilates)

Participants are introduced to Pilates style movements using the “reformer.” Set up of the reformer and basic techniques will be taught. This class is designed to follow the Into to Pilates Mat class and is a prerequisite for taking Pilates Reformer classes.

Time – 50 minutes

Yoga

Yoga

A series of postures linked with deep breathing designed to enhance physical and mental well-being. Standing, seated, inverted, twisting, and back-bending postures are performed to increase strength and flexibility, release tension, improve circulation, and free up areas of tightness or blocked energy. Each class ends with a deep-relaxation pose.

Intensity – Moderate
Time – 60 minutes

Chair Yoga

Designed specifically for those that have difficulty getting up and down from the floor. Flowing postures, deep breathing. This class is a great way to help one enhance their physical and mental well-being!

Time – 45 minutes
